Milton Manufacturing Main Office and Plant Expansions

During its rapid growth, Milton Manufacturing required the expansion of both its production facilities and front offices. There was a need to create a dedicated space for their growing amount of press brake work as well as its shipping and warehousing department. These two facilities were designed to tie into Milton’s existing facilities in a way that would enhance the flow of products from one end of their campus to the other. They closed the remaining two gaps between their other manufacturing spaces and numerous smaller plans were developed to retool their shop and make the equipment layouts more efficient. During this process the front office required an extension to provide more desk space for its growing engineering team and support staff. Plans were developed that expanded upon the existing space and created room for 13 new staff members, a secondary break area, expansion of existing restroom facilities, a dedicated 3d printing lab, and an engineering library. The aggressive expansion of the office area is also part of a larger plan to upgrade and expand on other existing office spaces throughout Milton’s campus.
